Praise God!!! The Lord really blessed this trip even though we had challenges, we take comfort in that we were found worthy to be used by our Lord.

The team consisted of:
Rupert, Roland and myself from Cape Town with Bennie meeting us in Malawi later.
Bruce, Roland and Alan Amey from Durban

We left Cape Town on 22 September for Johannesburg and joined up with the other team from Durban and spent the next night at Bubi Village Zimbabwe. From there it was another days driving to get to Chimoio, Mozambique. As the war was still going on in the northern provinces, we could not get to all the fellowships in the area.

Our mission trip to Mozambique and Malawi has been a great blessing in being able to share ministry with the believers there and meet folk who are standing firm for Jesus despite hardships . The Lord blessed His word to me as well in relying on the Holy Spirit for sharing the word for each different fellowship.  Every message was different with Him leading me!
A testimony I shared that I heard years ago was of a group of Christians who lived in Africa who used to walk through the bush to pray.  They would greet each other saying "Is your path still clean?  Are you still praying or is your path overgrown with the cares of this life"?  This was a challenge to them and to all of us.

Please pray for the mission trips:

22 Sept - 6 October 2016

No.... not the college kind where students enroll for three or four years and learn theology!

Five days of intensive ministry sessions in a central area to teach leading brothers from surrounding areas the Principles of the Doctine of Christ, the work of the ministry, the gifts of the Holy Ghost and the operation of the Body of Christ!

The "Bible School" in Blantyre, Malawi started in July 2012 and takes place every July.  In 2016 some 40 - 50 brethren were gathered together.

Kazuni, Malawi is scheduled to have the first "Bible School" in July 2017 - God willing .

Chimoioi, Mozambique "Bible School" has been going since 2014 and takes place in September.

The brothers in the field use notebok computers extensively.  Ministry is recorded in video and in audio wherever possible and circulated amongst the believers.  The files are duplicated and copied to memory cards and the brethren take the computers with them and play back the ministry sessions to spread the word on their travels.  In July it was discovered that a few of the old notebooks had "given up the ghost".

The Lord was gracious and provided an opportunity to obtain 4 "almost new" notebook computers at a very resonable price from a company that was closing down.  An added bonus was that these notebooks had "extended time" batteries - alowing for their use in rural areas where there is no electricity.  Many thanks to the Lord and to all the donors who contributed funds for the notebooks to be purchased!

The next item to assist with the use of the computers is a solar panel and a "power pack" that can be charged and taken on a road trip.  It is anticipated that these power packs will allow the computers to keep running for about 9 hours!  Right now we have only one solar panel and power pack and we are looking to the Lord to acquire three more.
